Officially composed of 11 athletes from different professions—medicine, dentistry, business, among others, the Omega Pain Killer Pro Triathlon Team was recently launched on March 8, 2014 at the IPI Conference Room.
“We would like to become good examples to the people by inspiring them to live healthy and active lifestyle,” Paul Jake Castillo, Omega Pain Killer Pro Liniment official endorser and Omega Pro Tri-Team member, expressed during the presscon.
Lorhiz Echavez-Lopez, a civil engineer by profession and a member of the team, also expressed the importance of joining triathlon in staying fit despite her busy schedule as a mom and a career woman. She quipped that juggling on her multiple roles only entails time management so that no aspect is sacrificed.
Omega Pro Tri-Team is set to compete in 9 different races this year, such as Xterra Philippines and IronMan, according to team captain Frederick Castaneda. Aside from that, they might also be joining other local races, which are not yet officially included in their schedules.
The team’s name is inspired by Omega Pain Killer Liniment’s latest product, the Omega Pain Killer Liniment Pro. It addresses the unmet needs of the previous variant. This new variant is formulated with fragrance oils (giving a refreshing scent to the skin), virgin coconut oil for easy and smooth application, and ethyl alcohol for faster penetration to the applied area of the skin.
